Through primary prevention strategy, we have reached over sixty thousand people of all age groups. Our comprehensive interventions focus on screening, education, and early detection to stop non-communicable diseases before they start.
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in Tanzania. Most of these conditions are preventable through early intervention and lifestyle changes.
Our Primary Prevention of NCDs program takes a proactive approach to health. Instead of waiting for diseases to develop and then treating them, we work with individuals, families, and communities to identify risk factors early, educate about healthy lifestyles, and implement preventive measures that can stop diseases before they ever take hold.
Through a combination of public health check camps, community-based jogging clubs, school health programs, workplace wellness initiatives, and sports group partnerships, we've helped over 60,000 people across Tanzania understand their health risks and take control of their wellbeing. Our evidence-based approach has proven effective in reducing the incidence of chronic diseases in the communities we serve.
We implement comprehensive primary prevention strategies across multiple settings, reaching people where they live, work, learn, and play.
Primary prevention strategy reaching communities through comprehensive health screenings, early detection, and treatment of hypertension, diabetes, cancers, mental health problems, and bone-related conditions. We collaborate with local government authorities and health facilities.
We assist communities to establish healthy clubs including church groups, women groups, SACCOs, and organized business groups. This initiative enabled the Kinyerezi community to develop a Health Resolution for health promotion.
We assist primary schools to organize health programs for teachers and pupils, including routine health checks, debates on diet and nutrition, and intra/inter-school health competitions with jogging activities ('mchakamchaka') and sports.
We assist workplaces and offices to develop health programs for employees in banks, hospitals, hotels, insurance companies, churches, colleges, and other organizations, promoting healthy lifestyles in professional settings.
We assist sports clubs and academic institutions to integrate health promotion programs, including routine health checks and appropriate measures when NCD risks are encountered among athletes and students.
Our public health check camps are designed to address the specific health needs of different age groups, ensuring comprehensive care from childhood through senior years.
Education and screening of risk factors for NCDs with focus on early intervention and healthy habit formation.
Comprehensive screening and treatment focusing on early detection and management of chronic conditions.

A systematic, evidence-based methodology that guides every participant from awareness to lasting lifestyle change
We collaborate with local government authorities, private and public health facilities to establish health camps and programs in communities across Tanzania.
Individuals undergo thorough health assessments including blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, cancer screening, BMI, and other key indicators to identify risk factors early.
Through workshops, debates, and health campaigns, we educate communities about NCDs risk factors, healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and the importance of early detection.
Based on screening results, we provide immediate treatment for detected conditions, personalized intervention plans, and referrals to specialized care when needed.
Through jogging clubs, support groups, workplace programs, and regular follow-ups, we ensure participants maintain healthy lifestyles and receive continuous support.
Since 2013, our Primary Prevention of NCDs program has transformed the health landscape in the communities we serve. By focusing on prevention rather than just treatment, we've helped over 60,000 people across all age groups avoid chronic diseases and lead healthier lives.
Our multi-faceted approach—combining public health camps, community jogging clubs, school programs, workplace wellness, and sports partnerships—has proven that with the right education, support, and early intervention, the burden of non-communicable diseases can be significantly reduced.
