The Community Center for Preventive Medicine "CCPmedicine" is a non-profit community-based social and health services-providing organization established on September, 2013.

Our focus is on Primary Prevention of Non-communicable Disease (NCDs) and Advocate for continuum of care for people with chronic and life threatening health illnesses throughout life span.

Our Journey

Over a decade of serving the community

Since our establishment in September 2013, CCPmedicine has grown from a small community health initiative to a comprehensive medical center with three specialized hospitals serving thousands of people across Tanzania.

We pioneered the Family-Centered Health Care (FCHC) approach in our region, recognizing that health is not just the absence of disease, but a state of complete physical, mental, and social wellbeing that involves the entire family and community.

Through our Wellness Initiative Program for Elders (WIPES), we've provided compassionate care to seniors, offering advanced care planning, palliative medicine, and home-based support for those with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

Today, we've reached over 60,000 people through our primary prevention programs, offering 15+ specialized clinics and 20+ diagnostic services across our three centers in Kinyerezi, Kifuru, and Malamba Mawili.

Health education, early disease detection, and timely interventions for NCDs including diabetes, hypertension, cancers, and cardiovascular diseases. We've reached over 60,000 people with preventive care programs.

15+ specialized clinics including Cardiology, Palliative Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Oral & Dental, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Orthopedics, and more.

Diagnostic Services

20+ advanced diagnostic tests including ECG, ECHO, Ultrasound, Breast Mammography, Full Blood Picture, Kidney & Liver Function Tests, Cancer Markers, and comprehensive lab services.

Elder Care (WIPES)

Comprehensive senior care with advanced care planning, palliative medicine, home-based care, pain management, and psychological & spiritual support for elders with chronic illnesses.
